Mountains Of The Sun (2020 Remaster)

Harry Harrison The album starts off slowly with a quiet acoustic number with ethereal electric soaring above it. It doesn’t take long before things get a bit heavier with some bluey fuzz that mingles with melodic acid space jams. The remainder of the album continues in this vein which is exactly what I needed at this moment. Track 3 sounds like a nod to Hendrix and 5 reminds me of the LSD years of the Beatles (But with better lead breaks) I’m really enjoying these guys but the back catalogue’s a bit daunting. Favorite track: Mountains Of The Sun.

Psychedelic Rick Excellent contemplative mood setting music. Vocals are haunting. Love this album. Favorite track: Mountains Of The Sun.

Golden Glow 04:07
out in the summer breeze a ghost stares at the sea and under a winter sky a Traveller searches for a sign open up the door and you will feel no more the path you're on is hidden in the light wait another day and see it burn away the path you're on is hidden from the light and caught in the summer breeze he's led to the Fallen Tree and under an autumn sky the Traveller lies down to die
Silhouette 08:58
shadows fall on the dying land nothing left but a Sea Of Sand you make your way across the river looking up at the starry sky watch the moons slowly rolling by the world is turning while he sleeps there and dreams of secrets and The Keeper and of the end that's drawing nearer all that's seen is a Silhouette you're falling down and you're feeling dead you feel the end is drawing nearer the wind is guiding you along the path the stars are falling from a sky of black you know the end is drawing nearer you see, the air is getting clearer you know the end is drawing near
step into the Endless Night dream about the End Of Time I'm gone, I'm gone sunshine warms the air outside rain falls in a dream at night I'm gone, I'm gone
Pt.1: Walking For Miles And Miles watching the colours with you by my side all gone so long picking a flower and seeing you smile what for no more blue sky sunshine stepping outside walking for miles rainclouds sundown wait for the night walking for miles and miles Pt. 2: The Mountains Of The Sun wake up let the starlight show the way out light a fire in the night, a beacon burning bright on the Mountains Of The Sun watch out let the moonlight show the way up choose the path you think is right don't know what you try to find at the Mountains Of The Sun

This is an album about Endings, Beginnings and Strange Dreams.

Written and recorded between October 2015 and June 2016 at The Quarry.

The lyrics on this record were inspired by dreams I recorded via a dream journal I kept at the beginning of the year so I guess you could also call this a concept album.
